A Reading Jr Royals Hockey Blog

Zero Zero started practice last night at 815pm. This marks the beginning of his fifth hockey playing season, the third playing on a Reading Junior Royals travel hockey team.  It was a marathon practice that went over by half an hour. The boys that showed up(twleve players) looked like they had a good work out. Zero was tired to begin with, since he had been swimming earlier in the day. He was asleep in the car for a good bit of the ride to the rink and complained that he was so tired. I told him he doesn’t know what fatiugue is acutally like.

Anyway, practice was quite good if you consider the amount of time on the ice. I did notice that he had some good hits(both recieving and giving during this session).  He seemed a little slow to begin with, but as the hockey practice proceeded, he seemed to wake up. He actually tried to get the puck away from his coach during the scrimmage.  But grasshopper is not yet that good. Hopefully, he will endeavor to persevere in his hockey career.
