The Royals were at the Wissahickon Skating Club last Saturday for the last game before the first official game of the season
began. The rink is a really old arena near the outskirts of Philly. WSC played a good game, but it wasn’t quite good enough for the boys. I made several videos before the game, and below is one I made of the interior of the ice arena.
The end score ended up something like 2-8. The Royals actually lead them into the third period at 8-0. The Wissahickon Skate Club did a fine job of holding them back, but it wasn’t good enough to get a win, but it was good enough to keep from being shut out on their home ice. You just got to hate that.
